Morsø Municipality has a population of approximately 22,000 and is one of the smaller municipalities in Denmark

Geographically, Morsø Municipality covers the island of Mors, which is situated in the north western part of Jutland. With an area of 367 km2 Mors is the largest island in the Limfjord.
